Elden Ring Nightreign is getting an official tabletop game adaptation

Elden Ring Nightreign is about to become a tabletop adventure.

FromSoftware’s roguelike action-RPG Elden Ring Nightreign is getting the tabletop treatment. This week, Group SNE announced that it was officially adapting the multiplayer Elden Ring spin-off game for the tabletop RPG format. Previously, the company had also worked on tabletop versions of Dark Souls and the original Elden Ring.

The Elden Ring franchise grows with another tabletop adaptation

If the release of Elden Ring Nightreign’s Forsaken Hollows expansion wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, have no fear: more Nightreign content is coming, albeit in a different format. An official tabletop adaptation of the multiplayer game is now in the works, though the project bears no release date yet.

The creative team behind this tabletop game is promising, however: the staff at Group SNE, who are said to have worked on tabletop adaptations of Elden Ring, Dark Souls, and Armoured Core VI via a Kadokawa social media account, are teaming up to produce the upcoming RPG.

Group SNE is also known for making Sword World RPG, a popular Japanese tabletop RPG that has sold 10 million copies of related products, including rulebooks and novels. Here’s a sneak peek at what the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign tabletop adventure will look like, albeit in Japanese:

Meanwhile, an Elden Ring movie adaptation is also in the works.
