Publisher Level Infinite and Developer Shift Up have announced an upcoming collaboration between their sci-fi gacha game Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Capcom’s horror-survival franchise Resident Evil. Goddess of Victory: Nikke x Resident Evil crossover announced
Goddess of Victory: Nikke is getting a Resident Evil crossover in the near future. During this week’s Future Games Show, Level Infinite confirmed that the gacha game would soon host Resident Evil 3’s Jill Valentine in-game, though the full contents of the crossover have not been revealed just yet.
The crossover was revealed with a teaser that follows a cult performing a ritual, after which we see a returning Nikke character–Poli–get grabbed by bloody hands. A woman appears at the end of the teaser, and is revealed to be Jill Valentine. Her costume is lifted from her Resident Evil 3 design, which has been Capcom’s go-to design for the character since the remake was released in 2020.
The Goddess of Victory: Nikke x Resident Evil collaboration has not received a release date just yet. However, it’s likely that the gacha game will feature more content from the Resident Evil franchise, beyond the appearance of Jill Valentine alone.
The Resident Evil franchise, meanwhile, is set to release its next installment next year. Capcom recently showed off a new look at the game during this week's Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase.
