Invincible VS 3v3 tag fighting game announced for 2026, voice actors returning

We’re getting an all-new Invincible fighting game.

The Image Comics comic book series Invincible is getting yet another adaptation, this time in the gaming medium. Skybound Games popped up at this week’s Xbox Games Showcase to reveal Invincible VS, an all-new 3v3 tag fighting game that features playable characters from the original comics.

Invincible VS brings Omni Man back into the world of fighting games

Invincible, the comic book written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Ryan Ottley, is getting another game adaptation. Skybound Games has officially unveiled Invincible VS, a fighting game that pits multiple heroes and villains from Invincible against one another in 3v3 tag team combat.

In the above trailer, we spotted Atom Eve, Omni-Man, Invincible, Thula, and Bulletproof–though more characters are likely to be announced in time. There are multiple notable omissions from the comics who would fit perfectly in this series, including Allen the Alien, Rex Splode, Robot, and Battle Beast–but this is a superhero series, after all. Everyone has varied powers, laying the perfect foundation for a fighting game.

Judging by the trailer, voice actors from the Amazon Prime Video TV adaptation of Invincible will reprise their roles for this game, including J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man and Steven Yeun as Invincible. Notably, this won’t be Omni-Man’s first appearance in a fighting game–Mortal Kombat 1 earned that honour by adding him in as a DLC fighter in 2023.

Invincible VS launches sometime in 2026.
