Here are all The International 2026 qualifier winners

The TI 2026 qualifiers saw nine teams secure world championship berths to complete the 16-team field.

The qualifier rounds for The International (TI) 2026 have concluded, wrapping up nearly two weeks of competition across five regions. While Southeast Asia, North America, and South America each crowned a single representative, China was allocated two slots and the newly unified Europe region was given four qualification spots.

Which teams have qualified for The International 2026?

Here are all the teams that qualified for TI 2026 through the regional qualifiers:

  1. Team Resilience (China)
  2. Vici Gaming (China)
  3. LGD Gaming (South America)
  4. GamerLegion (North America)
  5. OG (Southeast Asia)
  6. Team Spirit (Europe)
  7. TEAM VISION (Europe)
  8. HULIGANI (Europe)
  9. Nigma Galaxy (Europe)

The nine qualified teams join the seven direct invites: Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, Team Falcons,Team Liquid, 1w Team, Xtreme Gaming, and Team Yandex.

A look into The International 2026 qualifier results

Throughout the TI 2026 qualifiers, favourites largely lived up to expectations, with every region producing the anticipated winners except for one major upset in Europe.

China kicked off the qualifier rounds with Team Resilience surprisingly securing the first spot with ease, led by regional stars Shaohan “Erika” Yang and Hao “plAnet” Lin. The star-studded Vici Gaming, meanwhile, edged past Yakutou Brothers (aka Yakult Brothers) in a closely contested lower bracket series to claim the second berth. The two teams join fellow Chinese representative Xtreme Gaming, the region's leading contender, who received one of the seven direct invitations to TI 2026.

South America and Southeast Asia both produced expected results. The former HEROIC roster, now competing under LGD Gaming, dominated the South American qualifier, comfortably overcoming PlayTime in the grand final. Riding on the back of their impressive runner-up finish at BLAST Slam VII earlier this month, the squad has established itself among the favourites for TI, currently sitting sixth in our Dota 2 team rankings.

Meanwhile, the all-Filipino OG roster cruised through the Southeast Asian qualifier to secure the organisation's first TI appearance since 2022–a highly anticipated return after four years away. In the grand final, they denied Open Qualifier stack Grind Back, led by Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, from completing their lower bracket run with a 3-1 victory.

North America proved to be a much more simpler affair. The region was predictably topped by its only Tier 1 contender, as GamerLegion, led by Ghost, stormed through the qualifier without dropping a single map to secure their place at TI.

Finally, Europe's TI 2026 qualifier began, with four slots available following the merger of the Western and Eastern European regions. Unsurprisingly, Team Spirit and TEAM VISION–both of whom surprisingly missed out on direct invitations–entered as the overwhelming favourites and comfortably secured qualification without dropping a series.

The lower bracket, however, told a different story. Underdogs HULIGANI, formerly known as L1GA TEAM, pulled off a stunning upset over Virtus.pro to secure the organisation's first-ever TI qualification. Coming from the Open Qualifiers, the squad went on a long, grueling journey by eliminating team after team from the very first round of the lower bracket, including a victory over favourites Natus Vincere. Their remarkable run adds one of the most compelling storylines heading into this year's TI.

Nigma Galaxy then secured the fourth and final European qualification spot, narrowly defeating Yellow Submarine 2-1. The fan-favourite squad appeared rejuvenated following the return of Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and the addition of Artem “Lorenof” Melnick, earning another TI appearance in what could potentially be SumaiL's final run at the tournament.

That concludes the TI 2026 qualification campaign, making up a heavily stacked 16-field lineup at the year's championship. The nine qualified teams, as well as the direct invites, will now undergo preparations for the most important stretch of the Dota 2 season. Before TI 2026 begins, however, many of them will have their sights set on the lucrative Dota 2 Esports World Cup, which gets underway next week on 7 July.

What is The International 2026?

The International 2026 is the fifteenth edition of the Dota 2 world championship, taking place from 13–23 August 2026. This year's tournament will be held in Shanghai, China, marking the event's return to the city for the first time since OG lifted the Aegis there in 2019.

As is standard, TI 2026 will feature sixteen teams–seven direct invites and nine qualifier winners. Among them, defending champions Team Falcons will be looking to retain their title.

The base prize pool has been announced at US$1.6 million, although it remains to be seen whether it will be increased through an in-game event or remain unchanged.
