Team Liquid welcome 33 to offlane

Team Liquid enter the new competitive season with a TI winner joining in the offlane.

After spending the past two years and a half at Tundra Esports and winning The International 2022 with them, the time has come for Neta "33" Shapira to look for new opportunities.

An hour after his former organisation thanked 33 for his hard work, 33 was officially announced via Max "qojqva" Bröcker’s stream, to have joined Team Liquid.

Qojqva kicked off the stream with Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi and Samuel "Boxi" Svahn prepping the stage for the big reveal. 33 joined the call about 10 minutes into the stream and shared some of his thoughts on joining Liquid.

“Tundra was nice but also a little bit stressful, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but every time you watch Liquid play, it seems that things are more relaxed there,” said 33 who will now share the lane with Boxi.

Team Liquid are expected to play their first official matches with 33 in the offlane next week, in the closed regional qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.

After Team Spirit forfeited their direct invite slot, Western Europe received an additional qualifier slot and will have two teams claiming a ticket to Malaysia.
