Eden Esports, in collaboration with GamingMalta and Pinnacle Esports, is launching Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes, a series of four online Dota 2 events for teams in Europe.
Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes will bring together 40 teams from Europe to fight in a single elimination bracket. Each of the 4 event series has $50,000 to offer, and a premium week-long bootcamp package with a luxurious stay at a 5-star InterContinental hotel in Malta. The winners will be able to use the bootcamp package at any time they want within a year after the competition.
The first Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes is set to start on March 30 and will run until April 8. According to a press release, the $50,000 prize pool is split in bounties that can be earned beginning with the second round in the single elimination bracket format.
The knockout format will keep the stakes high throughout the whole event. From Round 2, every match won will get the team a bounty for enemy elimination. The size of the bounty will grow with each next round
No additional information regarding the bounties or teams competing at the first Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes have been given as of yet.
GRID Esports will be the official data partner for the event throughout the whole four series and will support all of Pinnacle’s content across all data use cases.
