Arkosh Gaming fail to secure DPC spot

Arkosh Gaming was eliminated in the closed qualifiers, failing to secure a spot to compete in Tour 1 of the DPC 2022-23 Season.

In the Post TI shuffle, Arkosh Gaming had disbanded their squad and picked up a completely new lineup. This time the roster included professional players from both NA and EU.

But the change-up didn't help Arkosh find a place in the first tour of the DPC for this season.

After losing their Division II spot last season, their 2:5 series (8:10 game) record resulting in a 7-8th place finish, Arkosh was forced to go through Open Qualifiers for a spot in this year's DPC season.

Their run in the closed qualifiers wasn't as successful.

After taking a 2:1 loss to Fart Studios featuring BSJ and Jenkins, they dropped to the lower brackets and were eliminated in the lower bracket quarter-finals by Monopoly 2:1.

With two players playing from Europe on high ping and significant timezone differences, can anyone blame them for struggling?

Failing to advance through the closed qualifiers means that Arkosh Gaming will miss the first tour of the new DPC season. That is if they even stay together after this loss.
