Alliance will be competing with two rosters in the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit season.
Following a full rebuild of their Western Europe line-up, which now features old friends joined by two SEA representatives, Alliance extends its reach into South America.
Rumored even right after TI11 was over to have been in talks with Alliance, the Hokori line-up wasn’t announced as a done deal until mere hours before the roster lock deadline.
Alliance’s new SA team, Alliance.LATAM comes with full brand new social media accounts, announcing the team signing.
Alliance LATAM roster:
Edward “Lumière” Guillen
João “4nalog” Giannini
Pablo “Vitaly” Angulo
Thiago “Thiolicor” Cordeiro
Anthony “Gardick” López
Hokori, now under the Alliance.LATAM banner, made waves this year when they snatched the South America regional qualifiers ticket to TI 11 and then delivered a spectacular group stage run at their very first presence at the pinnacle tournament for Dota 2.
With the exception of the position 4 support, Thiago "Thiolicor" Cordeiro, all team members are fairly new to the competitive scene, all having debuted in Dota Pro Circuit in the 2021 season via SA lower division. They made their way to the upper division in the first Tour of 2021 and since then, they constantly posed a threat in the SA regional league until this past October, when they qualified for TI11.
For the next season, the roster will continue to play in the SA region, however, the competition there has just become tougher since Evil Geniuses migrated there as well, signing a mix of former beastcoast and Thunder Awaken players.
