A new competitor has entered the stage.
Bleed Esports, a Singaporean organization most known for its VALORANT division, has bought T1’s Southeast Asia Division I slot for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit season. While the slot acquisition was announced at the end of November, two days before the roster lock deadline, the organization has also revealed its full Dota 2 roster.
Ahead of TI11, TSM have bootcamped at the Bleed Esports facility in Singapore, and on numerous occasions, the players have praised the excellent conditions that they had. A month later, TSM’s former support player, Kim "DuBu" Doo-young headlines Bleed Esports’ Dota 2 roster, most likely taking the captain duties as well.
He is joined at the new team by former BOOM Esports’ carry Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong and by Fnatic’s former offlaner Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakde.
Bleed Esports will mark the debut into the competitive scene for kordan, a Singaporean mid laner with no prior experience.
While no official announcement has been made regarding T1’s plans for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit, most likely they will exit the Dota 2 stage for now. On November 16, 2022, the organization disbanded the entire roster and thanked the fans for their support. However, they didn’t hint at any future plans.
Bleed Esports will enter the SEA DPC regional League Division 1 battle for a spot at the first Major of 2023 on the 9th of January, 2023.
