The International 2022 (TI11) is upon us. This year’s edition features a total of 20 teams starting in the group stage, the largest amount of participants TI has ever had.
TI11 group stage is set to begin this coming Saturday, on the 15th of October with the 20 teams split into two groups of 10. But, although this is the biggest TI team line-up ever, the group stage format remains the same as previous editions. Only the bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated at the end of a four days Dota 2 marathon.

- Twenty teams divided into two groups of ten
- Single Round-Robin
- Two game series
- Top four teams in each group advance to the Main Event Upper Bracket
- 5th-8th place teams advance to the Main Event Lower Bracket
- Bottom two teams in each group are eliminated

The International 2022 playoffs will be played in two separate venues. The first portion of the Main Event Playoffs will unfold in the Suntec arena in Singapore from the 20th to the 23rd of October. After that, the event takes a five-day break and will resume on the 29th of October with the Finals days which will be played on the 29th and 30th of October at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
