Nigma makes change in roster; ILTW out

Ahead of the last tour of the DPC 2021-22 season, Nigma parts ways with Igor "iLTW" Filatov.

After a very disappointing season, Nigma Galaxy has begun to make some roster changes in hopes of seeing an improvement for the upcoming (and last) tour of the DPC 2021-22 season.

Igor "iLTW" Filatov joined the team in April 2021 after placing Aliwi "w33" Omar on inactive status. As a Russian player, it was his second big stint playing with a European team. Back in 2019, he started the year at OG, but his trial lasted only about three months after which Anathan "ana" Pham returned from his yearly vacation to claim his spot.

Nigma Galaxy was sent to Division II by Team Liquid —well, Liquid's win was the nail in the coffin for them at least — and will need to compete in the closed qualifiers for a chance to attend The International this year.

The roster will need to be bolstered by a strong player to keep their hopes alive. Nigma did NOT compete in The International 2021.

There is no official word on who will replace ILTW or if this will be the team's only roster change.

 Current Nigma Galaxy roster:

Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Borislavov Ivanov
Maroun “GH” Merhej
Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi
