Jacky to stand in for BOOM Esports for SEA Regional Finals

Southeast Asia teams continue to tinker with their rosters ahead of the Dota Pro Circuit Regional Finals.

Although they placed first in the SEA regional league and through the six-week league play they dropped just a single series, BOOM Esports moved their carry player, Justine Ryan Evangelista "Tino" Grimaldo, to inactive status just two days prior to the Regional Finals.

Former Motivate.Trust Gaming player, Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong will be joining BOOM Esports at the Regional Finals, which are set to begin this coming Friday, February 11.

Saieful “Fbz” Ilham
Timothy “TIMS” Randrup
Rolen Andre Gabriel “Skem” Ong
coach: Yee fung “Mushi” Chai

Jacky was on the look for a new team after MTG decided to remove him from the roster and welcome aboard, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon who came from T1 on loan.

While MTG are not qualified for the Regional finals, and for now they compete in the tenth season of BTS Pro Series, BOOM Esports and T1, who announced their roster change just yesterday, will be fighting in the Regional Finals for a chance at adding extra DPC points to their names.

A first place finish in the upcoming Regional finals brings a total of 250 DPC points, while the runners up will grab 130 DPC points. There are no points to be earned by the teams that will place third or fourth.
