Fear joins Thunder Predator as coach for The International 10

TI5 champion Clinton "Fear" Loomis leaves behind Sadboys and the NA region to help Thunder Predator at The International 10.

Fear stepped down from his carry position at Sadboys earlier this week and will be heading to Peru to coach Thunder Predator, who will be one of the three South America teams attending The International 10 this coming August.

TP secured their spot at the long-awaited TI10 via Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points. They’ve become the 12th, and final team to lock themselves in via DPC points for the biggest tournament of the year this past Saturday when Evil Geniuses eliminated Team Nigma from WePlay AniMajor. Thunder Predator finished the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit with a total of 800 points gathered from a second place finish in Season 1 of SA regional league, a top six placement at the Singapore Major and a third place finish in the second season of SA league.  Along with them, beastcoast have also clinched a spot at TI10 via DPC points, which ensures that the SA region will be represented for the first time in TI history by a total of three teams.

The third and final SA squad to join the TI10 line-up will be decided in closed regional qualifiers held June 23-26.

Fear’s former squad, Sadboys will also be fighting for a spot at TI10, but in North America closed qualifiers. Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao joined the roster taking the vacant spot left with Fear’s departure.
