DPC 2021 Season 1; No surprises in Europe so far

The DPC 2021 Season 1 has been in full swing for more than one week now and the results in Europe have been status quo so far

As much as Europe is touted as the strongest region stacked with high caliber contenders, there still is a hierarchy among them, and one-and-a-half weeks into the season proves that still holds true.

Where in China and SEA the narratives collapsed with upsets and unpredictable results, the teams in Europe have been following the script as written.

The four invited teams Team Secret, OG, Team Nigma, and Team Liquid are at the top of the rankings. They are followed by the two teams that fans expected to be among the invited but just missed the mark --  Alliance and Vikin.gg while Tundra Esports (formerly Mudgolems) and High Coast Esports (formerly Chicken Fighters) round out the bottom.

While the results might be as expected, the competition has been stiff yielding fantastic performances and thrilling gameplay.

High Coast Esports will take on Tundra later today at 18:00 CET. The next series after that will be on January 30th when Vikin.gg challenge Team Secret at 18:00 CET and Alliance goes head to head with OG at 21:00 CET.
