The ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational first day of playoffs was a quick and decisive affair.
It was a relatively short day to kick off the playoff brackets at ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational. The two upper bracket series were played out —both ending in a 2:0 sweep.
Europe was sent packing to the lower brackets despite such dominant performances in the group stage. Gambit had come out of left field in the groups and with a strong showing over the last two days, continued to trample over their opponents, rolling over Alliance with little problems. Evil Geniuses crushed Team Secret with the second game being over in what felt like mere seconds (21 minutes which is 1,260 seconds to be exact).
With the announcement that ONE Dota 2 will host the final Major of the DPC 2019-2020 Season in Singapore in June, local fans are gearing up for a weekend of excitement and a bright future for Dota 2 events.
The action resumes tomorrow at 04:00 CET with two lower bracket elimination series and then EG and Gambit will face off to determine the first grand finalist of ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational.
