coL and Vega knocked out of DreamLeague Season 10 Minor

compLexity Gaming and Vega Squadron were the next two teams to drop out of contention at DreamLeague Season 10 Minor, leaving only four teams still competing.

As the first Minor of the new DPC 2018-2019 season starts to wind down, the dreams of attending the first Major have been dashed for two more teams.

In a surprising reverse sweep, Infamous knocked compLexity Gaming out 2:1. The South American team were the clear underdogs of this match up, but fought hard and strong to change the tides and their fate. After seizing the first game with relative ease, compLexity took control early in the second match —but not for long. Terrorblade quickly became too much for the coL lineup to handle and they lost their advantage and the game after one hour of play. Forced into a deciding third game with high stakes, compLexity Gaming once again seized the early advantage in the third match. Things were highly contested between the two teams but eventually Infamous were able to overpower their North American opponents and take the game and series win.

Vega Squadron went head to head with Na'Vi for the second time in the event. The first time, in the group stage, was frustrating for the Europeans as they were wiped out by the Ukrainian based team 2:0 in two heavily one-sided matches. Looking to exact their revenge and keep their tournament run going, Vega started out the series fighting tooth and nail to keep their heads above water. After seizing a slight lead about 15 minutes in, things started to quickly slip from their grasp as Na'Vi pulled ahead with no stopping them. The second game looked like history repeating itself as the same progression started to unfold before Vega's eyes and they were quickly swept away with a 2:0 loss.

The action will resume today, November 3rd, starting at 13:30 CET with the lower bracket elimination series between Infamous and Na'Vi.
