MSS moves to Immortals

On December 30th 2017, Immortals parted ways with their offlaner – replacing him today with Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar.

In a shock departure from Immortals, Lee ‘Forev’ Sang-don left the team line-up at the end of December 2017. After many rumors of reuniting with the MVP Phoenix line up, Forev moved through four different teams before Team Phoenix were brought back together, only to find their line-up picked up by the North American organization, Immortals. The squad came into the Dota scene once more, looking to return to their previous glory but found nothing close – with their only high placement coming in PGL Open Bucharest Major, where they secured a 3rd-4th place finish.

The parting ways of Immortals and Forev has not been discussed by either party in the public eye, and it was only Forev’s tweet which brought light to the situation.

However, with his departure from the team, a spot opened up for Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar to claim – which was confirmed by the Immortals organization earlier today via their Twitter.

MSS has been in the Dota 2 competitive scene for many years, making his debut for Fnatic in 2013. After moving through a fair few NA teams MSS makes his move to Immortals, ready to embark on his new journey from as early as January 9th when his team competes in the SL i-League Invitational Season 4 North American Qualifiers.

The current Immortals roster is as follows:

Korea Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob
Korea Korea Pyo ‘MP’ Noa
United States Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar
Korea Kim ‘Febby’ Yong-min
Korea Kim ‘DuBu’ Duyoung
