Teams will have one more shot at qualifying for Summit 7 with an additional EU qualifier added to the mix.
The final remaining spot for the BTS Summit 7 will be filled not by a direct invite team, as originally expected, but by another EU quallified team.
Open EU qualifiers will kick off today for one more chance via a mini event called LOOT.BET Invitational sponsored by LOOT.BET and U Can Company. Teams can hurry to register HERE.
Only two teams will emerge victorious, being awarded places in the closed qualifiers to compete against Thug Life and Effect in a double elimination prequalifier. The closed qualifiers will be taking place between May 17-19th.
After the dust has settled, two teams will then advance into the main event of the LOOT.BET Invitational scheduled for May 23-30th.
Six of the European teams that fell short of the current Summit 7 EU qualifiers (Prodota Gaming, NiP, Vega plus three more teams TBD) and the two closed qualifier teams will find themselves an opportunity to then battle it out in another double elimination series.
This time, the winner will be awarded the last coveted spot for the Summit 7 and the runner up team will land themselves a place in the next WCA 2017 EU qualifiers.

Summit 7
Announced to take place once again in the Los Angeles area, The Summit 7 LAN playoffs will take place just a few weeks before The International 7, from June 14 to 18. Eight teams - invited and qualified - will be competing for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool.
Virtus.Pro, VGJ and Team Secret have been the only confirmed teams while Clutch Gamers seized the qualifier spot for SEA. Chinese, NA and EU qualifiers are currently underway still.
