ESL One Frankfurt: Xiao8 to Frankfurt with LGD
All eight teams traveling to the ESL One Frankfurt LAN event next month have been confirmed following LGD's 3-1 victory over VG.Reborn at the Chinese regional qualifiers.

Global Grand Masters debuts with some of the finest European teams
After a couple of smaller online tournaments designed to sustain and help tier two teams develop and grow in a competitive environment, ProDotA is ready to raise the bar with a $50,000 Global Grand Master online event.

Nanyang Championship #2: Newbee take the final direct invite
After being one win away from becoming the champions at the EPICENTER LAN event, Newbee has received another chance at an international LAN event. Newbee will be joining Team Secret, Fnatic, EG, Digital Chaos and three other to be decided teams in Shanghai, China from the 6th to 10th of July to battle for a $200,000 prize pool at the Nanyang Championships season two.
The Short Film contest is back
Valve declared the competition open for the 2016 Short Film contest with no less than $43,500 in prize money on the line. The submissions must be done in the Steam Workshop until July 26 and the top ten rated will be nominated in The International 2016 Battle Pass for a final community vote.

Flipsid3 Tactics return to Dota 2 scene with !Rebels
Flipsid3 Tactics entered the Dota 2 scene first in 2013 with a Danish line-up (Absolute Legends) and it’s been on and off for more than two years. Now, they’ve decided to try again and signed !Rebels, a Russian team formed in the Spring Shuffle aftermath by Ivan 'VANSKOR' Skorohod.
OG sweep the Grand Finals of DreamLeague #5
After a three game series against Natus Vincere, OG takes DreamLeague Season 5 Grand Finals 3-0.
DreamLeague Season 5 prize pool distribution:
1st place: OG $50,000
2nd place: NA’VI $25,000 + $11,000 (League Play)
3rd place: Virtus.Pro $15,000 + $8,000 (League Play)
4th place: No Diggity $10,000 +8,000 (League Play)
All four teams are offered the chance to stay in Stockholm, Sweden for one week Bootcamp after the the DreamLeague. According to the tournament organizers OG will use it in full, No Diggity will use it partially, while VP and Na'Vi both declined the offer and will go home.
