mTw parts with non-Germans

[s]clan_news[/s]

The German-based team mTw.ATI has decided to part with their international players. DIDI8, Zerter and Zubie have now left the clan, and in the end of 2005, WinneR will also leave mTw. All that is left in mTw.ATI is now their German players.

353The WC3L Season 8 did not go as good for the team mTw.ATI as you might have expected. They had some of the best gamers in Europe, including DIDI8, WinneR and the duo Zerter and Zubie. However, the WC3L Season 8 gave them only two wins and a total of eight losses. Although, they managed to defeat Clan-IT in the playdown, and will stay put in WC3L. Now, they have announced that they will part with all their non-German players and mainly focus on the German scene.

DIDI8, WinneR, Zerter and Zubie gone

This action was taken due to mainly financial aspects. "It isn't nearly possible anymore to keep up with the international Warcraft elite having a lineup without those players we step ahead, and this time it's also impossible for us," writes dos at mymtw.com. With this, DIDI8, Zerter and Zubie have left their WarCraft lineup, and soon to follow is WinneR, whose contract goes out in the end of 2005.
With this step we want to mainly focus on the German community. It's better to be among the best clans in our country than just a semi-professional in the world.

Too meek to compete with the best in WC3L

This will certainly be a big change for mTw.ATI, left with an all-German lineup, who are considered some of the best in Germany, but still a bit too meek to compete with the best teams in WC3L. It remains to be seen what actions will be taken. Will they recruit more German talents and keep on playing in WC3L, or retire from WC3L and focus on the German scene 100%?
