The Asian qualifier for the DAC has concluded and four teams sit on top and directly qualify for the main event. TongFu came out of seemingly nowhere to snag the group win, followed by CDEC-Gaming and EHOME. The last of the top four is squad of retired players Big God, whereas HGT and Speed Gaming will enter the wildcard playoffs.
TongFu has climbed to the top of the Dota 2 Asia Championships Asian qualifier, having dropped only four games in total and never losing a match. Following are both CDEC-Gaming and EHOME, the latter of which started off stronger than their rivals but dropped the ball in the last two days. HyperGloryTeam was able to beat them 2-0 and was close to a top 4 finish but in a direct encounter against Big God, the retirees emerged victorious and have thus snagged the 4th place. HGT will play in the Wildcard playoffs, together with Speed Gaming. Both of them will meet the two DSPL finalists Wings and Energy Pacemaker, as well as the European 2nd and 3rd placed teams Power Rangers and Natus Vincere.
The Asia qualifiers were all played out on Perfect World servers and thus the South-East Asian teams were put in a disadvantage, as seen by the final standings. Mineski and G-Guard are the only non-Chinese teams that were able to get into the top 10.

This concludes all qualifiers for the DAC. The main event is set to take place from the 28th January - 9th February. The wildcard playoffs will be played out on the 28th and on the 29th the round robin groupstage will commence.
