The short third day of the i-League #2 LAN finals brought the elimination of both NiP and Speed.cn, after their losses in the Lower Bracket against MVP and VG respectively. MVP will directly advance to the third round (they were to face Big God) while VG will play iG tomorrow.
The third day of i-League #2 LAN finals was rather relaxing for most of the participants, as only two games were played in total. However, the two best-of-three series that took place brought the elimination of two more teams - NiP and Speed.cn. The Swedish squad faced the Koreans MVP.Phoenix, and they suffered a 2-0 defeat. The same thing happened to Speed Gaming, who could not put their snowball strategies to use against the experienced ViCi Gaming.
With Big God leaving the tournament after their victory against Speed.cn, default victories were given to both HGT and MVP.Phoenix in their respective matches against the team. Thus, MVP.Phoenix have already advanced to the third round of the Lower Bracket, where they will face the winner of the match between ViCi Gaming and iG. The two matches will take place tomorrow, starting at 11:00 CET and 14:00 CET.
