SLTV EU: Empire ahead of Lajons; Secret, HR and VP.Polar to play out tiebreaker

The European division of StarLadder's 11th season has almost concluded and Team Empire emerges at the top of the groupstage, right above Lajons. Two more slots for the LAN finals will be decided between Team Secret, HellRaisers and Virtus.pro Polar, all of which are tied at third place.

On the last day of the European groupstage of StarLadder Season XI, Team Empire pulls out two wins to secure themselves the top spot in the division. After their first win, the Russians were ensured of their participation at the LAN finals, as both them and Lajons had won over the three following teams: HellRaisers, Team Secret and Virtus.pro Polar are all sitting at a 11-4 record, but have a 1-1 record amongst themselves in direct encounters, wheras Lajons and Empire both won against all three of them.

Thus, Lajons is secured second place in the European division despite having the same amount of points. The three teams will now face each other in a tiebreaker in the coming days to determine which two teams will advance as the last teams for Kiev, Ukraine.

The Chinese division was the first to conclude and saw Invictus Gaming and CDEC Gaming advance, followed by South-East Asian/Korean representative MVP.Phoenix.
