The second semi finals of the The Summit 2 are over. Our second finalist, Vici Gaming, beat Team Secret witth a thrilling 3-2 scoreline. Like Evil Geniuses, Team Secret bounced back after losing the first two matches, but they couldnt' carry that consistency into the final game. This failure to achieve consistency resulted an anti climax for the closely fought series as VG stomped their opponents in game 5. With this win, Vici Gaming have secured for themselves, a top two finish and a minimum of 25% of the prize pool as winnings. They can better that if they can beat the other finalist, Cloud9, in the grand finals tomorrow. Meanwhile, Team Secret and Evil Genuises will take each other on tomorrow for thrid place.

Vici Gaming vs. Team Secret - 2:1
Game One
Vici Gaming had a rough start into the game due to Secret's rotations catching them off guard. The Chinese also tried to go for openings themselves but failed to grab kills resulting in an early advantage for Secret. Despite their advantage though, a few mistake by Secret ended in unfavorabe trades in a few team fight, allowing Black^ to splitpush and farm on his Anti-Mage. Both teams continued to farm, splitpush and occasionally clash, as the minutes ticked by, Vici Gaming slowly but steadily buildin an advantage from better trades. A highground push from Secret ends with the Europeans getting teamwiped and from there on out it was impossible for them to stop Black^, especially with the sustain from Omniknight. A pick-off on two Secret cores opened the doors for Vici Gaming for a game one victory.
Game Two
Team Secret had to concede an early blow as Puppey got first blooded on his Doom with Scorched Earth skilled, delaying his farm quite a bit. However, the Europeans did manage to retaliate with s4 on his puck, picking up an early double kill. But the Chinese still managed to do well in all of their lanes and with strong rotations from fy and fenrir, VG were able to keep Sven from farming. The rotations kept rolling and Vici Gaming gained a sizable advantage in both kills and farm. Whenever Secret tried to engage, Vici was able to counter initiate properly and Kuroky was never able to come online. A full five man wipe turned into a base push and Secret could take it no more.
Game Three
Secret initially outlaned Vici Gaming, but a DD rune on IceIceIce put the Singaporean ahead. Early rotations from fy and fenrir also gave Black^ an opportunity to grab some farm and get an early 7 minute midas. The Chinese continued to pick off enemies with Sunstrikes and soon Black^ led the farm chart. But only Black^ was safe from the chronosphere ganks, as Super was having a rough time finidng on his ember spirit and Vici Gaming's lineup being very susceptible to ganks. Super eventually found his farm and Vici Gaming was able to take on Secret. But the Europeans kept calm and continued farming, they eventually were able to break the VG's base. A double ultimate on s4's Razor spelt doom for Vici Gaming as they could not initiate and when they did, two Ravages and a Chronosphere tore them apart. Secret pulls one back.
