Only roughly 7 hours ago, it was reported that LGD-Gaming and Invictus Gaming had gotten their visas denied and could thus not travel to Sweden. The organizers have elaborated that the first teams they would look into would be the remaining Asian contestants, namely Rave and MVP.Phoenix. While Rave declined, MVP.Phoenix did not seem to have an issue to attend the tournament despite currently being in Baku, Azerbaijan. It seems likely that they will head directly to Sweden.
The next replacement would have to be one of the third placers in the other groups, leaving only Alliance and Sneaky Nyx Assassins. It seems as if Alliance, despite having recently pulled out of multiple tournaments due to roster issues, has no problems to attend the lan.
DreamLeague Season 2 will begin it's second phase on Monday, 17th November. Eight teams from around the world will travel to Stockholm, Sweden to compete over the course of ten days in a round-robin format. Only six teams will advance to the finals stage at Dreamhack Winter.
