The G-League LAN finals will begin today, with 8 of the top teams in China playing it out for a $42,500 Prizepool.
The G-League online qualifiers have concluded, leaving 8 of the top teams in China to play it out at the LAN Finals at the Shanghai Expo FengYun eSports Center. The LAN finals will feature 8 teams playing in a single elimination, Best of 3 format. One match will be played daily at 13:00CEST/19:00SGT, with exception of the additional opening match today, which will begin at 08:00CEST/14:00SGT.
The G-League, while featuring familiar names, will not have two of the top teams in China - Vici Gaming and NewBee. The reason for their absence has not yet been announced, but it is not as surprising given how they have withdrawn from multiple tournaments in recent times, citing player fatigue.
