$14,500 Dota 2 Championship LAN in Thailand announced

The South-East Asian scene is about to get yet another big tournament. The Dota 2 Championship LAN event will feature eight teams from across the South-East Asia region with four Thai teams to fight on home soil at the Siam Paragon shopping complex.

Former team Titan, now Team Malaysia will soon head to yet another LAN event after the ongoing WCA tournament. The Dota 2 Championship has been announced, hosted by Intel Thailand and TGSbigfestival. The tournament will feature eight teams from all across the South-East Asian scene with $14,500 up for grabs.

The eight teams will be split into two group of four where they will play out a double-elimination group, GSL-Style. Two teams per group advance to play a double elimination bracket. All matches will be bo1s except for the grand finals which will be a bo3

The event is set to be held at the Siam Paragon in Thailand, on October 17-19. The event's English casters have not yet been revealed.
