TI4 European qualifiers Day Three : Mouz guarantees the trip to Seattle

Using the Troll Warlord - Nature's Prophet duo two times, Mouz managed to survive RoX.KIS aggressive strategy and grab two victories in the best-of-three Winners Bracket final. RoX.KIS will face Virtus.Pro for the second Grand Final spot tomorrow.

Only one more day remains for the online phase of The International 4. The European Qualifiers will end tomorrow, with the Lower Bracket final at 12:00 CEST and the best-of-five Grand Final at 15:00 CEST. The first finalist was decided today, with Mousesports defeating RoX.KIS with a 2-1 score in their best-of-three Winners Bracket battle. As for the second Russian team of the playoffs, Virtus.Pro took down Team Coast quite convincingly, earning the right to fight for the Grand Final spot against their compatriots RoX.KIS.

Mouz vs RoX.KIS

Mousesports used the unconventional (for the current meta) Troll Warlord, causing a lot of trouble to RoX.KIS's Lycan. With Mekansm and Vladimir's Offering in his inventory, FATA's Troll proved a wise choice both in terms of teamfight and pushing potential. Losing the first game, RoX.KIS were forced to ban the hero during the drafting phase of the second match, eventually winning the game using a similar Lycan-based strategy. Nonetheless, Mouz were able to get their hands on the Troll Warlord - Nature's Prophet combination once again for the third match, using the same Game One shenanigans to crush their opposition and secure the trip to Seattle.

Virtus.Pro vs Team Coast

Game One

Game Two

Virtus.Pro showed a completely different face today against Team Coast, and it seems they have finally developed the chemistry and coordination they have been lacking the past month. For the first game, they deployed the Brewmaster for God, who went absolutely rampant and finished the game with 11-0. For the second match, Team Coast used their signature Tidehunter for Solen, aiming to prevent VP's late game dominance. However, the massive pressure applied on Illidan's Morphling gave Ars-Art the chance to shine. His Nature's Prophet was everywhere, providing the pushing and damage the Russians needed to overwhelm their opposition. Several mistakes by the Radiant allowed Team Coast to take down the middle and top barracks using their summoned unit army, but they were unable to seal the deal. The match ended with a bang, as AA's Nature's Prophet got a double Rampage and nullified Coast's defenses, forcing out the GG by the Dire.
