Live Report from Shanghai

16:41 CEST: Got any suggestions for this live news? Leave them in the comment section below and we'll consider them for the next two days.

16:32 CEST: If you haven't yet, you should check out our photo gallery. Updates will be coming shortly as Internet at the venue is not availabe and ReiNNNN will have to rotate back to the hotel first. Also, make sure to check out our draft analysis we did for the qualifiers.

16:25 CEST: Day 1 has finished but our live report has not. Stay tuned for pictures, videos and other cool stuff as well as ReiNNNN's 2nd blog.

12:42 CEST: Alliance seemed to be in danger of losing their mid rax, but the Swedes managed to fight off the North-Americans valiantly and created space for Loda to take the top rax and the bottom tier 3 successfully.

12:23 CEST: Liquid feels comfortable giving Loda the time to farm. Will they be able to handle a farmed Anti-Mage?

12:09 CEST: The game has started and the odds are stacked against Team Liquid, as 82% of the bets are in Alliance's favor. The draft however seems rather solid from the North-Americans.

11:49 CEST: The teams are sitting in their booths and the game will be underway shortly. In the meantime, head over to our photo gallery of Day 1 and check out several photos. More to come soon.

11:41 CEST: In a few moments, the two Western teams will face each other. Can Alliance lead the way and take the second win today or is it Team Liquid that will be able to bounce back after their loss against Orange?

Neat new Alliance hoodies

06:46 CEST: The showmatch is over but people discuss the issue of the game starting without Allstars.int being in the booth to actually pick heroes. Thoughts?

06:41 CEST: The Allstars match is close to an end as highground has been breached and the International mix is behind by too much. #gganymintute. 30k viewers on BTS and StarladderTV, how far can we take this throughout the day?

06:37 CEST: The Internet at the event is apparently so bad that ReiNNNN is running back and forth between the venue and the hotel to provide us with pictures and updates. We are trying to acquire a prepaid Internet card, let's see if that works out. Pics coming soon!

06:20 CEST: Find the line-up here:

06:18 CEST: Apparently the World Allstars have randomed all their heroes. Interesting start!

06:16 CEST: Quick update from ReiNNNN from the event: The Internet is horrible and we are quickly trying to resolve this issue by getting a mobile device.

06:15 CEST: Random Draft has begun! The Allstars line-ups consist of: Lifestaler, Invoker, Nightstalker, Dazzle and Sandking for the Chinese, whereas the World Allstars will play Earthshaker, Elder Titan, Tiny, Skywrath Mage and Viper.

05:56 CEST: BeyondTheSummit has started their personal pre-show including player introductions for the All-Stars teams. What are your predictions? The GosuBet currently reads 72% going into favor of the Chinese players.

05:52 CEST: Reminder, there are multiple streams you can check out. Two English ones by Ayesee & BeyondTheSummit, a Russian by v1lat and of course the official Chinese one.

05:44 CEST: The streams are live and the preshow is in full action! National anthems have been played for each country represented as the teams are on stage.
