16:41 CEST: Got any suggestions for this live news? Leave them in the comment section below and we'll consider them for the next two days.
16:32 CEST: If you haven't yet, you should check out our photo gallery. Updates will be coming shortly as Internet at the venue is not availabe and ReiNNNN will have to rotate back to the hotel first. Also, make sure to check out our draft analysis we did for the qualifiers.
16:25 CEST: Day 1 has finished but our live report has not. Stay tuned for pictures, videos and other cool stuff as well as ReiNNNN's 2nd blog.
15:16 CEST : Orange marches inside iG's base! Another bad initiation by YYF results in a new full teamwipe! Orange takes the barracks and iG calls the game! Orange wins!
15:11 CEST : A long fight near the Roshan pit ends in the worst way for iG! A four-man Reverse Polarity by Ky.xy results in a full teamwipe and a free Roshan!
15:02 CEST : Another blunder by iG! YYF jumps on Mushi, who activates a Black King Bar and Satanic combination, killing three heroes for iG, and forcing out Warlock and Jakiro ultimates as well!
14:55 CEST : iG chooses to fight under Orange tier-two. The narrow path provided for the fight completely favors Orange, turning the fight into a 4-1 massacre in favor of Orange! Chuan barely escapes his demise.
14:45 CEST : The mistakes keep coming from both teams, surprising themselves and viewers alike! IG seems to be slightly in front.
14:42 CEST : What an unlucky Blink by Ky.xy, straight into Chaos Offering and Ice Path! 3-1 fight won for the Chinese.
14:39 CEST : A well placed Reverse Polarity by Ky.Xy gets Orange back into the game, for a 4-1 fight in favor of the Malaysians!
14:37 CEST : Ferrari takes a double kill on Mushi's Gyrocopter and net's Witch Doctor, proving Dragon Knight selection wise!
14:32 CEST : Orange attempted to gank Ferrari's Dragon Knight, but iG turned the fight around, grabbing Witch Doctor and saving Ferrari as well!
14:30 CEST : Gyrocopter dies solo to Clockwerk, offering the first blood to iG.
14:25 CEST : The game has just started with a Witch Doctor pickup by Orange! The Gosubet predictions favor iG, with 76% to 23%.
13:55 CEST : Another teamwipe, and the bottom and middle barracks go down. LGD going rampant turning what could be an interesting game into a massacre. LGD takes the game with ease.
13:52 CEST : LGD making it look easy, with a teamwipe under DK's tier-two! Are we watching the iG-LGD previous match all over again?
13:48 CEST : Another disastrous Fissure turns a gank against Visage into a 4-1 fight for LGD!
13:44 CEST : xiao8 catches two with his Torrent/Ship, forcing a fight. The fight would have been 4-1 in favor of LGD if it wasnt for rOtk manning up turning it to 4-3!
13:42 CEST : Three more kills for LGD! They are simply outplaying DK for now, with the score being 6-0.
13:41 CEST : A clumsy dive by DK! The triple Earthshaker stun helps Visage grab two kills under his tower!
13:39 CEST : The pauses keep coming from both teams, they seem to have hardware issues. LGD's trilane seems to be experience starved at this point.
13:31 CEST : LGD's trilane grabs the first blood! Earthshaker and Visage combo looking strong.
13:26 CEST : The game has started, 29% vs 70% in favor of LGD. Will the Gosubet predictions be confirmed?
?
13:22 CEST : xiao8's Kunkka vs DK Wisp and Chaos Knight combo. A lot of action is coming!
13:14 CEST : LGD is about to take DK. Will DK get back on their feet and wipe the smiles of LGD players?
LGD.cn squad on stage!
12:46 CEST: Team Liquid loses a fight at Roshan and even an Aegis steal by Fluff cannot save the North-Americans. Alliance takes the mega creeps and another teamfight seals the deal, Alliance takes their second win.
12:42 CEST: Alliance seemed to be in danger of losing their mid rax, but the Swedes managed to fight off the North-Americans valiantly and created space for Loda to take the top rax and the bottom tier 3 successfully.
12:23 CEST: Liquid feels comfortable giving Loda the time to farm. Will they be able to handle a farmed Anti-Mage?
12:09 CEST: The game has started and the odds are stacked against Team Liquid, as 82% of the bets are in Alliance's favor. The draft however seems rather solid from the North-Americans.
11:49 CEST: The teams are sitting in their booths and the game will be underway shortly. In the meantime, head over to our photo gallery of Day 1 and check out several photos. More to come soon.
11:41 CEST: In a few moments, the two Western teams will face each other. Can Alliance lead the way and take the second win today or is it Team Liquid that will be able to bounce back after their loss against Orange?
Neat new Alliance hoodies
11:31 CEST: Invictus Gaming admits defeat, LGD.cn outclasses their rivals in what can only be described as a stomp.
11:29 CEST: LGD.cn takes the first set of rax and are just dominating this game. #gganyminute indeed.
11:13 CEST: LGD is currently leading 15-0 in terms of kills. The Spectre third pick seems to work out.
11:03 CEST: Yao and the jukes! Dives the tier 1 bottom, dodges a stun, a nuke and survives a creepcamp, LGD manning up.
10:51 CEST: While the players sort out the technical issues, the first badge of pics from the venue and the players has arrived, more to come soon! Check them out here.
10:50 CEST: Here the rather unusual draft. Ferrari on Tinker should be a feast for every Dota fan out there though.
10:37 CEST: Four bans, six picks, no Batrider. What the...?
10:33 CEST: The game has started, draft will be coming soon. 76% of the users in the Gosubet bet their branches on iG. Is it going to be as one-sided as the bet might indicate? Let's hope not.
10:15 CEST: The clash of the titans awaits as Invictus Gaming will take on LGD-Gaming. Is iG wavering after their loss against TongFu or will they claim their surpremacy back by winning this tournament?
10:08 CEST: It looked quite even but a few mistakes on Team Liquid's side cost them the game and NeoES.Orange takes the win.
10:00 CEST: A clutch teamfight goes the way of Team Liquid, Orange answer by sneaking a Roshan. Intense game!
09:42 CEST: The game is looking quite balanced, maybe a slight advantage towards Orange. 60% bet on Orange to take this. Will it end this way or can Team Liquid follow up on Alliance still?
09:29 CEST: The game has begun, unfortunately without another level 1 Roshan.
?
09:09 CEST: NeoEs.Orange vs. Team Liquid is about to go underway.
08:42 CEST: GG has been called, Alliance grabs the first win at the G-1 League LAN Finals! A convincing and impressive performance by the Swedes pushes the Chinese on the edge.
08:26 CEST: Alliance has taken down the bottom rax and the mid melee rax. Is this it or can DK make a comeback?
08:00 CEST: While you are watching the game, a quick sneak peek at what the teams are actually playing for. Money, prestige, pride and glory of course, but also this awesome trophy.
07:50 CEST: As first blood is spilled, here the draft of DK vs. Alliance
07:44 CEST: Holy smoke this start! Alliance using a strat from the GosuGamers Crew playbook and tp immediately to the Roshpit. Naturally, Ursa, Beastmaster and Lone Druid didn't take long to take him down and Alliance is now ahead!
07:28 CEST: The players are in the booths and seated at their computers, the game should be underway in a few minutes!
06:46 CEST: The showmatch is over but people discuss the issue of the game starting without Allstars.int being in the booth to actually pick heroes. Thoughts?
06:41 CEST: The Allstars match is close to an end as highground has been breached and the International mix is behind by too much. #gganymintute. 30k viewers on BTS and StarladderTV, how far can we take this throughout the day?
06:37 CEST: The Internet at the event is apparently so bad that ReiNNNN is running back and forth between the venue and the hotel to provide us with pictures and updates. We are trying to acquire a prepaid Internet card, let's see if that works out. Pics coming soon!
06:20 CEST: Find the line-up here:
06:18 CEST: Apparently the World Allstars have randomed all their heroes. Interesting start!
06:16 CEST: Quick update from ReiNNNN from the event: The Internet is horrible and we are quickly trying to resolve this issue by getting a mobile device.
06:15 CEST: Random Draft has begun! The Allstars line-ups consist of: Lifestaler, Invoker, Nightstalker, Dazzle and Sandking for the Chinese, whereas the World Allstars will play Earthshaker, Elder Titan, Tiny, Skywrath Mage and Viper.
05:56 CEST: BeyondTheSummit has started their personal pre-show including player introductions for the All-Stars teams. What are your predictions? The GosuBet currently reads 72% going into favor of the Chinese players.
05:52 CEST: Reminder, there are multiple streams you can check out. Two English ones by Ayesee & BeyondTheSummit, a Russian by v1lat and of course the official Chinese one.
05:44 CEST: The streams are live and the preshow is in full action! National anthems have been played for each country represented as the teams are on stage.
