NIHL - Northrend Inhouse League

A fresh scene for the DotA community, NIHL brings an active community of skilled DotA players together from all over the world. According to NIHL|Reeper the league has many unique aspects, such as:

Private mIRC channel - A chat program used to gather in a channel and sign for games. You can find them at Quakenet , channel #nihl.exp and for help #nihl.help.

Private Garena Channel - A private channel where games are played in GGC. Europe -> Northrend Inhouse League Room.

Activity Requirement - A requirement that means you have to play 4 games within 7 days. Additionally you need to maintain a 0.20 average game/day, so 1 game needed for every 5th day you're vouched. An example would be that a user that has been vouched for 20 days needs at least 4 games to stay vouched. If you are a main member, those conditions do not affect you.

Unique Botting System - Games are played with the ELO-System which is calculated by their Bots. Each game you play you gain or lose experience. Based on your experience you have a rank and a statistic. The teams are made by this system thus deciding who is the captain of each team. The default mode for NIHL is Pool, where the bot supplies a list of heroes and the captains decide either to go with the pool or !skip it. Skipping the pool will lead to the in-game mode being -cm where the captains pick the heroes for their team.

Unique 5v5 Ladder System - A ladder system which is used by teams to play Clan Wars against each other with a ladder to keep statistics on each team signed up. The channel this is found in is #NIHL.cw where anyone is welcome, there is no vouching etc.

We're glad to announce that the #nihl.cw Ladder is now online, together with some awesome features like "Active Games" and "Finished Games".
