The news about the changes in
Ravens are not even 24 hours old, but other gaming sites have gathered some more information about that incident.
Dota-VIP just posted two statements, on from the old leader of Ravens,
Smiske and the other from
Maelk."Today is the day where we go back to an all-danish lineup, which to be honest i think all of our players have missed abit in the days where we have been playing with international players. the parting ways with misery is mainly caused bye internal problems. kwom and moods where only tossed because of them just not being danish enough. now with this 7 man roster 6 danish people and merlini as our American i think we have the capacity to become a stronger team than ever before. Right now our focus is on DTS-Cup where we the next month are gonna practice hard to get ready".
"It did not take us long to figure out what the future had in store for us. Joining Ravens was a natural step for us to take, considering the friendship and chemistry we have always had with them. We have been playing and practicing alot with miGGel, AngeL and Smiske lately, and the outcome has been both productive and satisfying. Having spend the past three years within a Danish organization, we were looking to continue playing for one such, so Roskilde Ravens is in many ways the perfect place for us. Considering the recent successful spree of the former Ravens lineup, it is not all smiles when taking up the space of their former players, but I believe this to be the strongest possible lineup they could ever field, with the players still having a great time together. Essentially winning is everything, but having fun while doing so, plays just as an important role to us. I wish moods and MiseRy all the best in their future endeavours, it will not be long before their talent will come to good use somewhere else. As mentioned earlier, we have been practicing a lot of the past month, and will continue doing so with the busy summer approaching. First stop is going to be DTS-CUP in Ukraine, month after Dreamhack in Sweden and Farm4Fame finals, and after that playing with homefield advantage at The eXperience in Denmark. We are striving to have the entire team, meaning Merlini as well, gathered for bootcamps throughout the summer. After having been in the lowest gear without any desire to play or compete, I have to say that we are more pumped than ever and that Ravens, both as team and organization, has restored our love for the game and is the biggest motivational factor we could wish for. Bringing home a few trophies and gold medals in return will not be nearly as difficult as before".
But there is another surprise:
Merlini follows his old teammates to an 'all-danish lineup' and will play for Ravens from now on. With him the clan will start a bootcamp for upcoming events and also attend at the DTS-Cup, Dreamhack and The eXperience.fragster.de cought up with
MiseRy and interviewed him about the sack and his feelings towards his old clanmates."It was very surprising for me. I thought everyone was happy with the team at that point, since we had performed so well and beaten almost every team.
I didn't get any information from either Alexander 'Smiske' Troensegaard, Miggel 'miGGel' Berg or AngeL why I couldn't be a part of the new Ravens.
But it's just... I always thought we were friends that would treat each other with respect, but I was definitely wrong."
We try to keep you up-to-date with this soap-like incident and wish them all the best for their future.
