DOTA v6.42 released - Three new items added

DotA - Defense of the Ancients is probably the most famous and most popular mod for WarCraft III with leagues, prizes and sponsored teams. A new version has been released just this week, another massive update - don't miss the details.

There are barely any WarCraft III players around who have not heard of DotA yet. It is the most popular played mod/map for WarCraft III, played by players all over the world. Several sponsored teams by play for much prize money in leagues, the world's biggest LAN festival

DreamHack will give a total of ~€5500 for DotA only. Small facts that show how established it is. Updates on this map are highly anticipated and another updated version has been published this week - including three new items, many hero and game fixes as well as updates on many other iteams have been made. Satanic -> Active ability changed (Unholy Rage)
Added a new secret shop containing limited items to the top left and bottom right areas
Changed the way Aegis and Roshan work. Aegis is now a Roshan drop (a 1-charge ankh basically). You cannot create it manually. Roshan starts out weaker without melee return. He respawns stronger and bigger every 10 minutes
Butcher -> Hook now properly interrupts channeling
