With the BETA season having recently ended, the organizers of the International Cyber Cup have looked towards the gaming community in order to produce a league that the player is happy with.
The iCCup with last approximately 3 months and will work via a ladder system. Points are achieved through winning games, with the largest number of points being awarded to -cm games, and the least awarded to more casual games such as -ar/-sd.
The iCCup provides the host the ability to filter their games in accordance to who or who can't join them. Hosts will be able to ban players; set a rank limit; host a private or public game and even make use of the anti-hack launcher. Leavers will also be penalised, losing points depending on what level/rank they are.
The biggest advancement would have to be the addition of European servers as opposed to solely having Russian servers. Players are automatically assigned to a server depending on their ping and their country is displayed as a tag.
In the near future, organizers hope to have a server for the United States and maybe even China. From what it seems, iCCup looks to be a great success.
