PGL Major Kraków 2017 - Team Immunity through to Asia Minor

Team Immunity have successfully surpassed all opponents in the Oceanic qualifier, subsequently securing their placement at the Asia Minor Championship.

Team Immunity have secured a place at the Asia Minor Championship LAN finals following a strong performance in their stint at the Oceanic qualifier. From the depths of a round of 32 the Australian roster emerged victorious, overcoming 4 Kings, KFC, Avant Garde, Legacy eSports and finally Chiefs eSports Club in the grand final. As only a single slot is allocated per regional qualifier, Immunity are the sole representative of the Oceanic region at the Asia Minor.

Whilst Immunity made fast work of relatively obscure teams such as 4 Kings, KFC and Legacy eSports, the team saw retaliation from Avant Garde and Chiefs. In the prior match-up the team very narrowly won their match-up on de_Train, with the best-of-one coming down to round 30 at 16:14. As for the grand final match, the best-of-three saw all maps played, the first of which saw a double overtime that Immunity were able to edge out in the end. Chiefs managed to outperform their compatriots on map two - de_Inferno, with a fairly close score at 16:13. The series came down to de_Overpass, where Immunity was able to secure a fairly solid victory at 16:9.
