ESL Pro League Season 5 - Broadcasting line-up announcement

ESL have revealed the broadcasting line-up for the LAN finals of ESL Pro League Season 5.

With just over a month left till the LAN finals of ESL Pro League Season 5, the organisers have revealed the list of broadcasting talent present at the event. The offline portion of the event will be hosted in Dallas, Texas, United States at the Verizon Theatre on Saturday, June 3rd - Sunday, June 4th. Twelve teams from Europe and North America will clash over the course of five days for an incredible $750,000 in prize money.

Below is the distribution of the aforementioned prize pool:

1st place - $225,000
2nd place - $100,000
3rd & 4th places - $60,000
5th & 6th places - $45,000
7th & 8th places - $40,000
9th & 10th places - $35,000
11th & 12th places - $32,500

In regards to the broadcasting line-up, the tournament will see a bunch of familiar faces, however we will also see a newcomer and some talent that hasn't shown up for a little while. Hosting the stage will be a fresh face in Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez, a popular Halo, Smite and Overwatch broadcast announcer and desk host. Returning for his sixth commentating gig is Sam "Dazed" Marine. Finally we will once again see John "BLU" Mullen returning to commentate matches, presumably with Dazed.

As for more familiar faces, we'll see Moses take on the roll of desk host on this occasion, switching from his usual role of analyst. He will be hosting the analytical trio of Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Janko "YNk" Paunovic and Halvor "Vendetta" Gulestol. The second commentating duo present at the event will be fan-favourites Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett and Henry "HenryG" Greer. Working behind the scene to bring you an enjoyable cast will be DJ Prius and Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo.
