DreamHack announce the return of DreamHack Masters: Malmö 2017, scheduled to take place this Autumn.
DreamHack announce the second iteration of their tournament in Malmö, Sweden - DreamHack Masters: Malmö 2017. The tournament will take place at the start of the autumn season on August 30th - September 3rd. Sixteen of the top CS:GO teams in the world will converge at Malmö to face each other for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool.
Of the sixteen teams eight will receive invites, whilst the remaining eight will have to fight their way through qualifiers in order to meet the "crème de la crème" of the CS:GO scene at the LAN finals. Currently no information has been announced regarding the qualifiers, however DreamHack have expressed that it will be released closer to the start of the tournament in late August.
In addition to the main event, visitors will be able to experience the following at the event:
