IEM XI Oakland - Full team list decided

After the conclusion of iBUYPOWER Masters all teams participating at IEM XI Oakland have been decided.

After Immortals took first place at the iBUYPOWER Masters 2016, a tournament that acted as both a standalone and a qualifier for the IEM XI Oakland finals, the list of participants for the event was finalised. The top four teams from the tournament received a direct invite to the finals of the 11th iteration of Intel Extreme Masters, held in Oakland, California, United States. 

???????IEM XI Oakland is a $300,000 prize pool event hosted in Oakland, California, United States. Twelve teams will compete against each other in a bid to secure bragging rights for first place, as well as and incredible $125,000 for first place. The group stage of the finals will see a best-of-one round robin format, where teams will receive $1,000 for each win they secure. The top two teams from each of the groups will proceed to the semi-finals, whist four teams proceed to the round of six, where the remaining two semi-finalists will be determined. All matches barring the group stage and Grand final will be best-of-three, with the finale bringing a series of five maps.

As a reminder regarding the outcomes for each of the top teams, Immortals were able to overcome Cloud9 in the Grand final of the tournament, securing first place, whilst the North American's grabbed second. In third place were FaZe Clan, that managed to get victories against Team SoloMid and Renegades, securing second place of group B. The final team to secure a placement at Oakland were none other than the highly promising Chinese roster of TyLoo, that managed to beat Echo Fox on two occasions, once in the group stage and the second time in the deciders' match, where the team went 2-1 in maps against the Americans. Whilst both FaZe and TyLoo sat at a 2-1 record, FaZe were ahead in match win/loss ratio, placing them higher than the Chinese.
