ESL has confirmed that Fnatic will not be attending the Pro League finals in Brazil.
It has been officially confirmed by ESL that Fnatic will not be in attendance at the upcoming Pro League finals in São Paulo, Brazil, and their spot will remain unfilled. Fnatic, who recently reacquired former team member KRIMZ from GODSENT, has announced that they will be unable to attend the LAN final in São Paulo, citing personal reasons as the cause.
ESL has said that, although they reached out to all European non-relegation Pro League teams, they were unable to secure a replacement for Fnatic due to the scheduling and travel difficulties the short notice would cause. The LAN, which begins October 26th, will play out with one less team than originally intended, five in Group A and six in Group B.
The revised groups for the ESL Pro League finals are as follows:
Group A: | Group B: |
Immortals | Ninjas in Pyjamas |
mousesports | SK Gaming |
OpTic Gaming | FaZe Clan |
Team EnVyUs | Team Dignitas |
Team Liquid | Cloud9 |
NRG eSports |
