Team Liquid have announced via Twitter that they have secured the services of Jacob "Pimp" Winneche.
Two days ago ESPN's eSports section stated that, according to reliable sources, it was supposed that Liquid would buy Jacob "Pimp" Winneche out of his contract with SK Gaming as a replacement for Eric "adreN" Hoag, who has been released after being a long-time member of the establishment.
Along with the addition of Josh "jdm64" Marzano in the place of Kenneth "koosta" Suen, the North-American organisation has now confirmed Winneche's deal. It's expected that Pimp will make his debut on Liquid when ECS Season 1 Finals and ESL One Cologne have been concluded as he played the European Minor with SK. As we mentioned earlier this month, Ukranian player Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will stand-in for them on their next two tournaments.
With this news, Liquid's roster consists in:
Spencer "Hiko" Martin
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Josh "jdm64" Marzano
Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu (coach)
