Fnatic, FaZe, Dignitas, and TSM will compete in a series of BO2s to advance in the $1.4 Million ELEAGUE Season 1.
Fnatic entered this group as the favorites, and now following big performances by Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, Robin "flusha" Rönnquist’s return to form, and the most recent return of Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, they on course to sweep the group 6-0.
Both FaZe and Dignitas enter this week’s ELEAGUE in good form following their convincing qualifications for ESL One Cologne. This is the BO2 to watch in this group as both teams have the firepower to claim the runner up spot, but the head-to-head battle will be the deciding factor. René "cajunb" Borg must bring his experience and consistency to lead Dignitas to a strong performance. FaZe come into this BO2 with the upper hand, with 4 of the 5 last matches between these teams going their way. Håvard "rain" Nygaard and Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey are expected to have monster performances, which have recently been enough to give the edge to FaZe.
TSM enter this week with Casper "cadiaN" Møller as a stand in for Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who is unable to play as a minor due to Georgia law. As a wildcard team, TSM will struggle to take a map off any of the other teams, and are most likely to finish in fourth place.
