With the final European Qualifier taking place this weekend, DreamHack have released a statement on the eight teams that will be fighting in the qualifier for an invitation to the $100,000 event this Summer.
The DreamHack ZOWIE Open event is quickly approaching, now only one spot remains for an invitation to the Jönköping tournament that will take place on 18-20th of June. Starting this Saturday teams from all over Europe will go head to head to try and take the final spot in the open part of the Qualifier.
The following day, Sunday, will hold the closed part of the qualifier. Here, eight teams, all chosen for their form and performances during the first qualifier have been invited. These eight will be paired against the eight strong standing teams from the open qualifier in order to ascertain the strongest team who will then follow on to join the major event.
The elected teams for the Closed Qualifier #2 stands as follow:
