DreamHack have announced that they will be hosting the next CS:GO European Minor Championship.
The Championship will be hosted at DreamHack Tours in France, May 14th-16th, and will feature eight teams determined by the online Championship qualifiers. They will compete for two spots to the offline qualifier of this year’s ESL One Cologne Major, in addition to their share of Minor Championship's $50,000 prize pool.
The online qualifiers will comprise of two stages. The first, an open stage, that will allow teams to sign-up and participate, up to a maximum of 512 teams. The top teams from the open stage will then continue to the second stage, where they will compete with other pre-invited teams for a spot in the European Minor Championship at DreamHack Tours. Finally a total of eight teams will duke it out at the Vinci International Congress Center in May to decide two teams that will be securing spots at the main qualifier for ESL: Cologne 2016.
The dates of the online qualifiers are as follows:
Qualifier #1: April 23rd-24th
Qualifier #2: April 30th-May 1st
