StarLadder have announced that they will be organising this year's CIS Minor Championship.
StarLadder, a prominent CIS tournament organiser, has announced that it will be hosting this year's CIS Minor Championship. The tournament, like other Minors, will offer a $50,000 prize pool, as well as two spots for the main qualifier at the ESL: Cologne 2016 Major event.
Prize distribution:
1st place - $30,000 + ESL One: Cologne 2016 main qualifier invite
2nd place - $15,000 + ESL One: Cologne 2016 main qualifier invite
3rd place - $5,000
Teams that have at least three representatives from the following countries are eligible to participate in the qualifiers for the offline event:

Two open qualifiers for the event will take place on the 11th-17th April, available to all teams that meet the rule requirements for the event. Eight teams from said qualifiers will continue their journey to the online closed qualifier, taking place on April 18th-20th. Upon conclusion it will decide the four top contenders that will proceed to the offline LAN final of the Minor that will be hosted in Russia, Moscow.
A total of eight teams, four qualified and four invited, will finally duke it out in the heart of the Motherland to decide the two teams that will be participating in the main qualifiers for the Major in Cologne.
