IEM : Katowice 2016 group draw finalised

Upon conclusion of the North American qualifier for IEM: Katowice 2016, the group draw has finalised, with all teams set going into the Polish-based tournament.?

The group draw for IEM Katowice 2016 has been finalised wtih the closure of the NA qualifier and Tempo Storm proceeding to the $250,000 event.

The group stages will consist of two groups of six teams each, competing in a best-of-one round robin format. The winners of each group receives a promotion into the best-of-three semefinals and the 2nd and 3rd placed teams of each group secure spots in the best-of-three quarterfinals. The group stages will be played in a studio, not open to public, between March 2-3rd while the Spodek Arena will host the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand finals from March. The grand final will be played out in a best-of-five series. The main event in Spodek, Poland will take place from 4-6 March 2016.
