Team QuestionMark found a new organisation

Team QuestionMark have finally found their new home, or rather, they created it.?

One of the most successful CS:GO teams throughout last year made headlines in late November in announcing their departure from Team SoloMid. It was later revealed that there were some missunderstandings between players and management which culminated in the decision to parts ways with the North American organization.

At the start of 2016 the players left a hint about their new organisation, revealing only the date of its announcement. Moreover, everyone believed that their new home might be Team Secret, the same organisation which is supporting some of the best DotA 2 players. However, the Danish team proved everyone to be wrong on this one, as they went for a radical move.

The Danish players, in cooperation with a few investors, have decided to found a new organisation which will operate totally opposite to most of the other existing organisations. The loupe is on the players, who will be playing a big role in this new project. Moreover, they are also regarded as a co-owners of the new organisation, called Astralis.

We chose this offer over countless others, including far more profitable in the short term, because we believe in building something that will have a lasting impression on the game we love.” - Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen said.

The line-up will remain intact, as it will keep all of the five original Team SoloMid/Team QuestionMark players, which includes: Rene ‘cajunb’ Borg, Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen, Nicolaj ‘device’ Reedtz, Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rasmussen and Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth. However, there is one new change regarding the team's composition. Astralis have decided to sign a new coach, who will be helping out its players to achieve even greater goals compared to last year's achievements. On this path, they will be accompanied by Danny ‘zonic’ Sørensen, who will be acting as a coach for the Danish team.

Another interesting fact about the new organisation is that they will have full transparency in their work. This means that players are free to disclose any information on the size of their salary, income, stickers money, prize money, stream revenue, and many other details. Moreover, the players will have a bigger role, not only being in charge of playing, but also actively participating in making decisions for the organisation's future.

As a little reminder, the current Astralis squad have managed to score a total of six first places throughout the previous year, winning events such as PGL CS:GO Kick-off season, Fragbite Masters 4, FACEIT 2015 Stage 2, GameShow CS:GO League season 2, PGL CS:GO Championship, and ESL ESEA Pro League season 2 for Europe. Moreover, they were one step short from winning IEM Gamescom, ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational Dubai and IEM San Jose, where they placed second. Finally, they finished FACEIT 2015 Stage 3 in  third place. The performance streak continued, even after they parted ways with their old organisation, under the name of Team QuestionMark where they won the RedDot Invitational at the start of this 2016.
