With all four playoffs teams found, Sunday will see the final three matches of the CEVO Season 8 LAN finals played out to see who will take home the biggest slice of the $175,000 prize pool. In the meantime, catch up on the final moments of the group stage.
In Group A, the crowd at the MLG Arena saw an extremely tight series between Virtus.Pro and Dignitas, with the Poles eventually taking it taking after after losing de_train in overtime 17:19 with a 16:13 on de_inferno and 16:11 on de_mirage. In the lower bracket, Dignitas then had to contend with Team Conquest, who suprisingly managed to swipe the series 2:1 from under Dignitas' feet with a 16:9 de_cobble and finally a close win on de_cache 16:13
Meanwhile in Group B, mouseports had a strong showing against Luminosity, who they knocked out of the upper bracket with just two maps, 16:12 on de_dust2 and 16:7 on de_mirage. Titan took revenge on their Brazilian rivals in the lower bracket 2:1 after falling to them 2:0 just yesterday, with wins on de_cache, 16:11, and de_inferno, 16:14.
