Polish based Virtus.Pro has taken down the North American Cloud9 to advance into the play-offs.

The third winners match today saw Virtus.Pro and Cloud9 come up against each other. They have won versus Immunity, 16:8, and Mousesports, 16:10, respectively.
The match was played out on de_cobblestone with the North Americans starting as Terrorists. Virtus.pro started off strong, winning the pistol round and converting it into a quick 3:0 lead, just for Cloud9 to answer with six straight rounds of their own. The NA team started grinding the rounds through with continuous B-site pushes, exploiting VP's weaknesses. It took VP a while to stop them in their tracks, but they managed to secure a 8:7 half-time score.
The second half saw the Poles take another pistol round and convert it into yet another three rounds. They followed it up with the first gun round win, which forced C9 onto an eco, giving Virtus a healthy six round lead. C9 answered with a round win of their own, just to lose the next three for a combined score of 16:8 in favour of VP.
