Fnatic and Virtus.Pro have taken down eBettle and Immunity respectively to advance to their group finals.

The first round of the group C saw Swedish superstar team Fnatic face off against one of the underdogs at this year's major, eBettle, who made a surprising entrance to the event after defeating Titan in the European qualifier. Fnatic had an easy match for themselves on de_mirage, smashing eBettle in the first half 14:1 and then cleaning up on the T side for a quick 16:2.
In group D, Virtus.Pro also had a relatively simple game against Immunity, one of the two Oceanic teams at the event on de_cobble; the Australians put up a good fight on their T side, managing to rack up a respectable 6:9 half, but things fell apart in the second where VP exercised their superior teamplay and mechanics to finish up the match 16:8, only allowing their opponenets two more rounds.
