Luminosity Gaming took a very clean win over Team Kinguin, while Team Solomid didn't allow Renegades to surprise them.

Luminosity Gaming have defeated Team Kinguin and despites the odds which weren't working in their favour, the Brazilian team moved on to the winners match. The European mix had a good start taking a 3-0 lead, but the Brazilian force quickly stricked back and the first half ended with 10-5 in their favour. The second half was under the full control of LG. Kinguin failed to secure a pistol round which casued them to finish with only one round on CT side.
In the second match of group A we saw Team Solomid taking on one of community favourite teams, Renegades. The Australian guys had a really strong start taking the first five rounds. However, TSM quickly got themselves on the board for 5-5. In the end, those five rounds was the maximum for Renegades when it comes to the first half, as the Danish team was dominating collecting all the remaining rounds. In the second half we saw TSM winning the pistol round which extended their lead. With the first full buy round Renegades managed to finally take a CT round, and although this half went full back and forth TSM came out on the top of it with 16-11 due to the lead from the first half.
