Gfinity reveals teams and casters for Summer Masters event

Scheduled to take place at the Gfinity Arena in London, England this upcoming weekend, the tournament boasts some of the scene's top talent on both the competition and the broadcast side.

Eight teams will be vying for their share of an impressive prize pool totaling $80,000. Currently, only seven of the eight teams have been announced, with Gfinity awaiting confirmation from the final squad on the list. A predominantly European list, Cloud9 will be the lone representative from across the pond.

List of attending teams:
Poland Virtus.Pro
France EnVyUs
Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas
France Titan
United States Cloud9
Denmark Dignitas
Denmark SK Gaming
TBA

Bringing coverage for the Gfinity Summer Masters is a collection of the United Kingdom's finest Counter-Strike personalities. They are all joined by the ageless SirScoots, who picks up hosting duties for yet another CS event.

Below is the list of broadcast talent:
United States Scott "SirScoots" Smith (Host)
United Kingdom Richard Lewis (Analyst)
United Kingdom Duncan "Thorin" Shields (Analyst)
United Kingdom James "JZFB" Bardolph (Caster)
United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia (Caster)
United Kingdom Matt "Chewwy" Smith (Caster)
United Kingdom Karam "Kyan1te" Kabbara (Caster)
United Kingdom Henry "HenryG" Greer (Caster)

Despite the absence of the two best teams in the world, fnatic and TSM, the Summer Masters should feature high level play and tightly contested matches. Perhaps there will be a number of surprise upsets in store, as the attending teams look to knock on the door of the aforementioned #1 and #2 ranked teams.

Running from June 26-28, keep an eye on the ticker this Friday and stay tuned to GosuGamers for more Gfinity Summer Masters coverage.
